Weather has continued to make things challenging but anglers are still catching fish – best tactic is intermediate or DI3 line in the bright conditions with cut throat cat or white lure.
I took to a boat out in the middle to give this a try and caught a fish on second cast – the fish are still fighting well and don’t seem over stressed by the recent warm conditions.
The weather promises to be slightly cooler with occasional rain showers so fingers crossed that this brings some more consistent sport.
