Loganlea Fishing Report 20/06/2019

Some great fish caught over the last couple of weeks. The featured image shows Mr McAdam from Edinburgh Masonic fishing club today, looking like the cat that got the cream with a personal best 11lb rainbow. The top of the water action has been hectic when the weather conditions are right – fish are also in a chasing mood and stripping a muddler or ginked up fly in the right conditions has delivered lots of action. A variety of dries from beetles to CDCs and various types of emergers have accounted for fish – they’re well spread all over reservoir and weather looking good for weekend. Some good tigers also been caught recently….
