Fishing report 30th April
Fishing on Friday was excellent but the cold weather on Saturday presented challenging conditions. One or two fish was the norm – rather than the double figure catches from earlier in the week. Hopefully, the weather will improve over the next few days and the trout will be more active.
I visited on Sunday and struggled at the shallow end but found lots of action on the Dam with a black lure and intermediate line fished on a fast figure of eight. Some of the boats also did well using similar tactics.
