Loganlea Fishing Report 14/04/2023

After a difficult start to the season, things are now looking up and the fishing has improved over the last couple of weeks. Last weekend produced some good bags with some anglers getting into double figures. The fish are well distributed and there’s a good mix of overwintered and newer stockies in the reservoir. This week weve added some 10lb + fish from the fish farm to spice things up. Top flies last wekend were pseudo diawl bachs, damsels and yellow dancers. The boats did better on sinking lines with the bank anglers on midge tip or floating lines.

We’ve continued to stock weekly through the colder patch and we’ve probably got more fish in the reservoir than at any other time – looking forward to a good weekend weatherwise and look forward to welcoming anglers.
